New Leadership in Canadian Tourism

In a major cabinet shift, Pascale St-Onge has been appointed as the new Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for the Economic Development Agency for the Regions of Quebec. She will take on these roles alongside her current position as Minister of Heritage.

This change follows the resignation of Soraya Martinez Ferrada, who stepped down to launch her campaign for Mayor of Montreal. St-Onge’s expanded portfolio signals a continued focus on tourism and economic development, and we look forward to seeing how her leadership shapes the industry moving forward.
