Ministerial Lead for Jasper’s Recovery

AMPPE is pleased to note that this week, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has appointed Terry Duguid, Minister of Sport and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada, as the new Ministerial Lead for Jasper. Minister Duguid takes over from Minister Randy Boissoneault and will coordinate federal support with provincial, municipal, and Indigenous partners to accelerate Jasper’s recovery from last summer’s wildfires, ensuring both economic stability and world-class environmental protections. AMPPE is pleased with this appointment and has a well-established relationship with Minister Duguid.
